Peasant House Syrup Co. started with a Christmas gift.

When Jacob gifted Ariel an espresso machine, what began as a new hobby quickly became a daily ritual.

As we experimented with coffee syrups at home, we found ourselves disappointed by products that tasted artificial and one-dimensional. Ariel asked a simple question: Why not make them ourselves?

That question became the foundation of Peasant House.

Our name is a tribute to the peasants who cultivated the land, preserved traditions, and shaped much of the food and drink we enjoy today. Their resourcefulness inspires everything we do, and reminds us that everyone deserves a seat at the table.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, we craft small-batch syrups and sugar cubes rooted in nostalgia, quality ingredients, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Our flavors are familiar yet unexpected, designed to elevate coffee, tea, cocktails, mocktails, baking, and everyday moments alike.
